Celebrate the season with our much-loved festive workshops in the heart of Glasgow. From wreath making to lino printing and embroidery, our workshops are the perfect way to unwind, connect, and craft something special.
Each workshop is led by talented local artists who’ll guide you step-by-step, with all materials provided.
Whether you’re joining with friends, family, or colleagues, you’ll enjoy a time of creativity and festive cheer in our cosy canal-side studio.
Our café will be open throughout with mulled drinks and seasonal treats — the ideal spot to relax before or after your workshop.

Workshops run from late November through December, with group bookings available for 8 or more people.
Our Christmas Workshops
We’re offering a range of festive workshops that celebrate the joy of making and the spirit of the season — from wreaths and lino prints to embroidered decorations and handmade cards.
Each session is led by our expert facilitators who’ll guide you step-by-step through the process.

Monoprint & Collage Cards

Monoprinting is fun and expressive. Collage is slow paced and considered.
Take some time for yourself this Winter to get creative, meet new people and give original artworks to the special people in your life.
Embroidery Decorations Workshop

Create a festive embroidered tree decoration using inspired by Gathering Ground’s Community Garden and a reading from our seasonal almanac.
Willow Wreath Making
Sunday 14th December 2PM-4PM
Hosted By: Max Johnston Basketry
Weave a wreath out of willow and dogwood and decorating it using festive foraged materials.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, no weaving experience necessary. All equipment and materials provided.
Christmas Lino Cut Workshop

Come craft your own greeting cards & prints as you learn the traditional artform of linoprinting!
At this workshop you will learn the basics of linoprinting, create a design, hand-carve it, and print it, all in one session.
